The Sri Lanka Police have arrested the wife of former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, his father-in-law, and a broker over the investigation conducted into the death of the 16-year-old domestic servant who was employed at the former MP’s residence.
Further investigations are being conducted into the incident, while 20 statements have been recorded in respect of the incident, Senior Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ajith Rohana said.
The Attorney General (AG) appointed a Deputy Solicitor General and a team to provide legal advice for action on the case on Thursday (22 July).
