Minister of Justice and Prison Reforms, Thalatha Atukorala says the support and cooperation extended by the Government of Germany to the development of Sri Lanka’s judicial system is commendable.
Minister Atukorala made this observation when she met with the Ambassador of Germany to Sri Lanka Joern Rohde at the Ministry of Justice and Prisons Reforms yesterday.
During the meeting, discussions were held with regard to further strengthening of the cooperation between the two countries in the field of justice.

The importance of training on the exchange of legal issues for the development of the judicial systems of the two countries was emphasized at the meeting.
The Minister said the Government of Sri Lanka appreciates the support given by the German Government for the study and training of the judicial matters for the development and promotion of the judicial system in Sri Lanka.
