Accountant and Gem & Jewellery industry professional Amitha Gamage has resigned as the Chairman of the National Gem & Jewellery Authority, News First reported.
The reason for his resignation is unknown.
He was appointed as the chairman of National Gem & Jewellery Authority in December 2019 by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
