Suicide bombing in Iraq: IS claims responsibility

The Islamic State (IS) claimed that it was behind the double suicide bombing in Baghdad, on Thursday (21). At least 32 killed and more than 100 wounded, this being the biggest suicide attack in Baghdad for three years.

Both bombers had blown themselves among with a crowd of shoppers at a second-hand clothes market in Tayaran Square.

BBC reported that the first bomber rushed into the market and gathered a crowd around him by claiming to feel sick while the second blew himself up as others came to help the victims.
