The second impeachment trial of Donald Trump will begin on February under an agreement reached between Senate Democrats and Republicans.
The charge of “inciting insurrection” will be sent to the Senate on Monday by the House of Representatives Democrats.
Arguments will begin after the week of 8 February, giving Trump’s lawyers two weeks to build a defence.
Democrats accuse Trump is accused of inciting the 6 January riot at the US Capitol.
