Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr.Bandula Gunawardena has appointed W.A.D.S.Gunasinghe, as the new General Manager to the Sri Lanka Railways.
Gunasinghe, an experienced Special Grade officer in Sri Lanka Planning Service (SLPS), has also acted as the President’s Additional Secretary previously.
Meanwhile, Special Grade officer in Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS) Nishantha Anuruddha has been appointed as the new Commissioner General of the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT).He also had previously served as Additional Secretary to the President.
