A woman who had threatened a Grama Niladhari officer in the Hungama area.
She had threated the officer to enter her name in the electoral registry as only those whose names are present will be eligible to receive the allowance of Rs 5000.
The Hungama Police thereafter arrested the suspect, while further investigations are being carried out into the incident.
