A stock of Heroin, weighing two kilogrammes and 266 grammes, was taken into custody by the Vavuniya Police, with the arrest of a suspect.
According to the police, the raid was conducted by the Anti Vice Unit of the Vavuniya Police.
The arrest was made when the suspect was attempting to board a bus to colombo.
The suspect will be presented before the Vavuniya Magistrate’s Court.
