Bring it on says Sampanthan

Opposition Leader, R. Sampanthan says that he was prepared to face any objections even a no-confidence motion brought against him.

Sampanthan has told the media that his actions in parliament have been in line with the people’s mandate and there was no way he could have supported a no-confidence motion that was move in the House in an unethical manner.

He has further explained that the President and Prime Minister in 2015 received a people’s mandate for reconciliation and for a power dividing mechanism in an undivided country and that he was supportive of the mandate.
