The Court of Appeal decided to dismiss appeal petitions filed by Gampola Vidanage Samantha Kumara alias ‘Wele Suda’ who challenged the judgment of Colombo High Court that found him guilty for drug trafficking charges.
Accordingly, Court of Appeal Justice Deepali Wijesundera and Justice Achala Wengappuli affirmed the Colombo High Court’s judgment to impose death sentence on the accused.
