Court today ordered the case against Parliamentarian Johnston Fernando over his failure to declare assets and liabilities to be taken up on the 12th of July.
The order was issued by Colombo Chief Magistrate Lal Ranasinghe Bandara.
Former Secretary to the President PB Abeykoon who is named as a witness in the case has been ordered to appear before Court on the 12th of July.
The third witness in the case who appeared before Court today was also ordered to be present during the next hearing.
The case was filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption against MP Fernando over the failure of the Former Minister to declare his assets between 2010 and 2014.
