The Colombo Magistrate’s Court called for the Government Analyst’s report on CDs containing telephone reports submitted by Perpetual Treasuries Limited pertaining to investigations into the controversial Treasury Bond transactions.
The order was issued by Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne .
The Department of the Attorney General informed Court that Perpetual Treasuries had altered information on the CDs before issuing it to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the Treasury Bond Issuance.

Therefore the Counsel representing the Attorney General requested Court to call for a Government Analyst’s report on the CDs provided by Perpetual Treasuries.
