The first round of debates of the Constitutional Assembly of Sri Lanka is due to commence today at 10.30 a.m. in the chamber of the Parliament.
Director General of Government Information, Attorney –at Law Sudarshana Gunawardana in a statement said the main focus of the debates will be the Interim Report of the Steering Committee, which was tabled on 21st September 2017.
The debate will take place on three consecutive days.
