Local musician Iraj Weeraratne has resigned from the National Youth Services Council.
He was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Council last August and was supposed to serve for a period of 3 years.
In a letter to Youth Affairs Minister Namal Rajapaksa, he states that he has decided to resign due to prior work commitments.
