Rosemary Felicia Perera alias ‘Jeena Madam’ who was convicted for running a brothel at Liberty Plaza, Kollupitiya has been acquitted by Supreme Court today, News Center reported.
She was earlier convicted for 3 years in prison in 2012 for employing women in prostitution.
In a split decision the Supreme Court the 3 member Supreme Court panel acquitted her from charges in the High Court conviction.
