Former President Maithripala Sirisena and State Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara responded to the criticism made by the Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith.
Mr Sirisena said that he was very disappointed with the Cardinal’s statement.
Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara said there seems to be political influence in the statement made by the Cardinal.
