The Met Department forecasts that current showers are to reduce temporarily during the next few days.
Fairly strong, gusty winds can also be expected over northern part of the country, and in the coastal area of the Southern province. Light showers will occur in the Northern, Northwestern, Western, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
Furthermore, Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces can experience misty conditions during the morning.
