A programme has been formulated to provide skills development for students who were unable to progress to the GCE Advanced Level due to failing to obtain sufficient results in the 2020 GCE Ordinary Level Examination.

The Government Information Department announced that the programme will be offered under the National Human Resources and Employment Policy Department.
It has been reported that nearly 98,000 students who had sat for the 2020 GCE Ordinary Level Examination have not qualified for the GCE Advanced Level.
The Government Information Department further said except for students who had failed only in mathematics and are resitting the exam, other students will be offered an opportunity to follow the course.
Those eligible to follow the course will be identified by the area Divisional Secretariats and are to be provided courses as per their capability. (NewsWire)
