Opposition has 116 votes to pass NCM- Ranjith

United People’s Freedom Alliance Parliamentarian Ranjith Soysa says the opposition has the required votes to pass the No-Confidence Motion tabled against the Prime Minister.

MP Ranjith Soysa said 116 parliamentarians representing both the government and the opposition have decided to support the No-Confidence Motion.

The No-Confidence Motion tabled against the Prime Minister will be debated on the 4th of April, following which a vote will be taken.

The Joint Opposition handed over the No-Confidence Motion against Prime Minister Wickremesinghe to the Speaker of House on the 21st of this month.
