The Sri Lankan government has received has a positive response from the Japanese government on our request to acquire stocks of the British manufactured AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab.
According the President’s Media Division (PMD), Sri Lanka requested for 600,000 doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine from Japan.
The PMD said President Gotabaya Rajapaksa had put forward the request to Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga.
