Most of the old stooges back as cabinet ministers. One fellow who was arrested for corruption, 5 who have come thru the back door on the National list. Why a cabinet position for development? Where is the money for any development when there is no money for medicines fuel and gas?
The notorious Tiran Alles is in charge of security and law and order.
No action against Johnston. A few arrests made just for the show.
Judiciary is being pressured again. Cabraal’s case keeps getting postponed. No action re Senior police officers.
The media is also playing games.
Everyone is happy that donors are ‘flocking’ to help SL (no one is reading thru the diplomatic language “the IMF is positively engaging with SL and hopes to arrive at a conclusion on 24May”. ; the G7 will support SL after IMF steps in” etc. )
The R’s are brazenly going about their business once again.
