Lebanon Prime Minister, Saad Hariri says, that he’ll return home “in days” to formally submit his resignation.
Hariri announced last week that he is stepping down and blames the Iran-backed Hezbollah movement for his resignation, citing concerns over his and his family’s safety.
Lebanon cabinet states that he is being held captive but Hariri denies the claim.
Hariri was a Sunni leader and businessman who was nominated to form Lebanon’s government in November 2016.
“My resignation came as a wake-up call for Lebanon”, sats PM Hariri.
