A sexual assault case which was filed against the Former Chairman of the Akuressa Regional Office, Saruwa Liyanage Sunil for raping an under-aged girl was taken up at the Colombo High Court yesterday, November 28.
The prosecution informed the court on Monday, November 27, that they will present the video footage in question to court yesterday.
Indictments were filed against the suspect by the Attorney General for forcibly taking away the daughter of a couple working under him and raping her.
