Heather Menzies-Urich, who played Louisa Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, has died aged 68.
She was diagnosed with brain cancer a month ago and died on Christmas Eve surrounded by her family, her son Ryan confirmed.
She was a 14-year-old with no acting experience when she landed the part of third-oldest von Trapp daughter Louisa in 1964.
After the film she appeared in many television films and programmes, including the TV series of Logan’s Run.
