Warrant issued for Jaffna MP Archchuna Ramanathan

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has issued a warrant for newly elected Jaffna District MP Archchuna Ramanathan for failing to appear in court.

It is reported that the MP had failed to appear in court pertaining to the case related to a road accident in 2021.

MP Archchuna Ramanathan is accused of being involved in a road accident on Baseline Road and allegedly assaulting another motorist, seriously injuring him.
