The market clawed back to gains a second day on Monday with the best daily performance with the ASPI beating it’s previous days record for the most points gained in a day to 470 points or 4.23% and the S&P SL 20 up 194 points or 5.2% on a very encouraging Rs 4.3 billion turnover. The new month today is expected to further consolidate but the global sell off in stocks due to the war situation in Europe could dampen some nervous investors together with the shortages in fuel seen here in SL . The commodity prices are rising with the Oil clearly trading above $ 100 and as much as $110 today in Asian trade will have mixed feelings amongst the investing public today.
