A.L.M. Nazeer was sworn in as a United National Party national list Member of Parliament this morning to fill the seat left behind by the recent resignation of M.H.M. Salman.
Sri Lanka Muslim Congress National List MP MHM Salman resigned from his MP post last month to pave way for another SLMC member to represent another district.
Salman was one of two SLMC nominees included into the National List of the United National Party (UNP) following the general election in 2015.
