Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has paid special attention to establishing an authority, called the Public Service Management Authority, committed to public service to address the burning issues of the people in the villages.
Minister of Internal and Home Affairs and Provincial Councils and Local Government, Vajira Abeywardena said the Prime Minister’s intention is to establish this strong and powerful authority to serve the people and emphasized that the Ministry officials would visit the villages to resolve their problems.
He said that the government would face any challenge and the public authority will be a great help to provide benefits to the public.

Minister Vajira Abeywardena made this statement at a press conference held at the Information Department yesterday. Attorney Sudarshana Gunawardena, Head of the Development Communication Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office was also present at the occasion.
