Sri Lanka has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Kabul on Saturday which claimed 95 lives and left at least 158 others wounded,
“Sri Lanka strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Kabul today targeting innocent civilians and those under medical treatment,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Saturday.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this terrible violence unleashed on the innocent,” Foreign Ministry said in a Twitter post.
An explosives-packed ambulance blew up in a crowded area of Kabul killing at least 95 people and wounding 158 others. It is one of the biggest blasts to rock the war-torn city in recent years.
The Taliban have claimed the responsibility for the attack.
