Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today addressed the persisting crises in Sri Lanka.
Addressing an event, he said this is not the time to do politics, but to work together for the betterment of the nation.
The Prime Minister called on all parties that boycotted the All-Party Conference to attend the next session.
“With the April New Year inching close, Don’t create false fear claiming that we will run out of fuel and food in the next few days,” he said.
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa further said that the Government had not created the coronavirus pandemic.
He added that some people are influencing the public by claiming that the Government had caused certain of the current issues in the country.
Stating that the Government was aware of the severe inconveniences faced by the public, the Prime Minister said measures are being taken to address the issues as much as possible.
