In response to the statement made by Attorney General (AG) Dappula De Livera yesterday (15), a report has been called from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID).
The AG’s Coordinating Officer, State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne announced that the AG wished to inform the public that he is unable to prosecute the abettors and conspirators of the 2019 Easter Sunday chaos before the end of his tenure as the investigations were incomplete.
