On the fake news that has been circulated the Former Army Commander confirmed that he had never said anything to the effect that then the Prime Minister(RW) requested to avoid or delay the investigation on Easter Sunday Attack. In fact the Prime Minister advised Army Commander there should be thorough Investigations and all culprits should be arrested and taken to books (legal actions) immediately. On a separate note it should be noted that the total blame and responsibility on the Easter Sunday incident was on the government during that period and therefore,why should have RW requested the Army Commander and IGP to stop any investigations. This is evidently a fake News.
