The first official exchange rate for foreign currencies for the year 2022 was issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka today.
The exchange rates of a majority of the currencies remain steady in comparison to those issued on the 31st of December 2021.
The US Dollar which saw a drastic fluctuation in November 2021 remains steady at the beginning of 2022, with the buying rate at Rs. 198.50 and the selling rate at Rs. 202.99.
