Sri Lanka Police have arrested an Indian national, who has arrived on a tourist visa and conducting a business illegally.
The suspect has been arrested on Saturday (14) at Rajamalwatta Junction in Modara Police division while engaging in business illegally, violating immigration and emigration rules, the police said. He was selling textiles at the time of his arrest, the Police Media Unit said.
The 52-year-old suspect is to be produced before the court. Modara Police are conducting further investigations.
