Jaffna Mayor V Manivannan has barred councillor Rajive Gandhiu from attending council sessions after he had called a fellow councillor “a dog” during an arguement while in a meeting.
The Mayor had asked Mr Gandhi to appologise but the latter had refused which resulted in him being temporarily barred from future meetings.
