A leaked audio clip purportedly between former State Minister Ranjan Ramanayake and Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe has surfaced on social media today.
The two male voices purportedly Ramanayake’s and Wickramasinghe’s are in conversation about ‘shooting’ current State Minister of Power Mahindananda Aluthgamage.
Even-though the context is not clear in the audio, the voice purportedly to be Wickramasinghe’s is heard giving advise to Ramanayake.
The audio is one of the several telephone recordings which were reportedly found in CDs and DVDs seized by the Police from Ramanayake’s house over the weekend.
According to news reports, Minister Aluthgamage will file a complaint with the CID regarding the audio clip.
