Sri Lanka Navy, in accordance with naval traditions, ceremonially welcomed the Royal Australian Navy ship HMAS Newcastle arrived at the Port of Colombo on Tuesday on a four-day goodwill visit.
The 138.1 meters long and 14.3 meter wide vessel has a displacement of 4,200 and carries a complement of 184.
During the ship’s four-day official visit, the crew members of the vessel are scheduled to take part in several events organized by the Sri Lanka Navy.
The ship is due to depart from the Colombo harbor on 17th November.
