The cabinet of ministers has given the go ahead for two South Korean firms to do a pre-feasibility study for six Light Rail Transit systems in the Western Region of Sri Lanka.
The cost of the contract is 202 million rupees.
Proposals have been submitted by 05 international institutions to conduct the study and were later awarded to M/s Seoyoung Engineering Co. Ltd and Saman Corporation.
