A bus carrying Covid-19 patients had collided with another bus, the accident had taken place between Namalgama and Aselapura between Pollonaruwa – Baatticoloa main road
The 23 patients in the bus are unharmed, while the two drivers who sustained injuries were admitted to a hospital for treatment.
The bus carrying CV-19 patients was heading to Maradana while the other bus was heading to Kaduruwela, Kalmunai.
The Likanda Police are carrying out further investugations.
