Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SJP) MP Kader Masthan has tested positive for Covid-19 after under going a rapid antigen test.
Speaking to NewsWire Sergeant-at-Arms of the Sri Lanka Parliament Narendra Fernando said that they are unable to reach MP Masthan to ascertain if he had contracted the virus.
MP Masthan had attended the afternoon session of Parliament proceedings that was held on yesterday (08).
Contact tracing has begun to identify the Parliamentarians who had come into contact with the infected.
