The National Dengue Prevention Unit warns that the probability of an increase in mosquito larvae has been reported from school and office premises.
According to Community Specialist, Dr. Prasheela Samaraweera, it has been decided to commence a special dengue eradication programme once again on November 9 and 10.
She added that the rise is mosquito larvae is mainly due to the recently experienced monsoon season.
Three hundred and ninety five deaths have been reported thus far this year owing to the Dengue epidemic.
