The former Prime Minister has urged the government to not recognize the Taliban administration and to shut down the Sri Lankan mission in Kabul as it has become a hub for terror groups.
He further said that Sri Lanka should close down its diplomatic mission in Afghanistan and open a new office in another nation in the same region.
He warned the government that terrorism might raise its head again if Sri Lanka continues its diplomatic ties with the new Afghan regime.
