More than 1,000 people have been affected due to floods following heavy rains experienced in the past few days, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) said.
As per their report, 1,214 people from 325 families in the Sabaragamuwa, Uva, North Central, Eastern, North Eastern, Central and and Western Province.
Three people were injured in Ratnapura and Kurunegala district due to floods.
95 houses were partially damaged and two houses were fully damaged due to flood, they said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
