The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Provincial Councillors Federation has decided to refrain from supporting President Maithripala Sirisena, if he contests at the next Presidential Election.
Speaking to media former Central Provincial Council member Pramitha Bandara Thennakoon said the Federation also decided to contest the upcoming Provincial Council Election only under the flower bud symbol of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
The decisions were reached during a discussion that took place.

Former Provincial Councillor Pramitha Bandara also said steps will be taken to direct the decisions to the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna leadership in the near future.
